I have comprised a list of 101 things I have got to do in my gap year and I will document them all. I cannot come up with any excuses for not doing every single one of the things on the list. This is what will make my gap year, this list.
- Keep going to gym regularly
- Train to run a half marathon.
- Do the Cape Argus.
- Keep going to yoga.
- Get my first aid level 2 and or 3.
- Get my matric physical science and get an A.
- For one week - go out every night of the week.
- Get a higher certificate at SACAP.
- Go overseas and make friends with young foreigners.
- Dress amazingly all the time – because I no longer have to wear a uniform.
- Attend a lecture at UCT.
- Go on a road trip
- Do the Knysna half marathon
- Get a lot of community service hours
- Get a job.
- Blog about the adventures and life lessons acquired in this year.
- Spend more time in Kommetjie.
- Go to the Kirstenbosch summer sunset concerts.
- Go on a cocktail making course.
- Learn to play the piano again.
- Meet a whole new group of people.
- Go camping.
- Do a canoe time trial at the vlei.
- Enter for miss South Africa even if I get nowhere.
- Go to a gay club with Chad.
- Have dancing lessons with wade.
- Have a monthly cup of coffee with Mrs. Olivier
- Visit Mr. Colquhoun and Mrs. Sylvester.
- Expand my cooking abilities.
- Save up enough money to buy myself a Mac laptop.
- Make myself a dress.
- Knit jerseys for the aids orphans.
- Go visit the boys at Sydney cottage.
- Visit Robben Island
- Learn to do Argentinean tango.
- Enter the lottery monthly.
- Go ice-skating.
- Always take a camera to capture every moment.
- Go to a cricket game.
- Learn to love all my imperfections and myself.
- Have a complete girls night in Kommetjie.
- Go to the Grahamstown festival.
- Create a book for my dad.
- Create a book for my mom.
- Meet someone famous.
- Read all the books on the exclusive books 101 books to read before you die list.
- Go on a photo shoot.
- Kiss someone in the pouring rain.
- Help Billey lose weight.
- Attend a wedding.
- Go on a date.
- Buy someone special flowers.
- Attend a Stellenbosch lecture.
- Go to a karaoke evening and sing!
- Build a house with habitat for humanity.
- Go to Ox Braai.
- Read the newspaper and keep up to date on current affairs.
- Learn how to make crème brulee.
- Take a short photography course.
- Remain single and unattached for the entire year.
- Get involved in promotions.
- Set up 2 friends on a date.
- Do the Impi Challenge.
- Cook every recipe in Nigella Lawson’s “How to eat”
- Lose a lot of weight.
- Go to Blackpool for the dance championships (just to watch).
- Get my bellybutton pierced.
- Get a hot stone massage.
- Remain celibate.
- Earn the respect that I lost from Wade back.
- Get in all my applications before time.
- Get better at surfing

- Go to the J&B Met.
- Stand in the snow.
- Stay awake to witness a sunrise and sunset.

- Detoxify – no sugar, dairy and wheat for 2 weeks.
- Ride a horse.
- Enter a competition.
- Run the Milk wood in April.

- Throw a message in a bottle out to see.

- Donate Blood.
